What collects there
Dust, old dressing, and the film from your hands live on the jamb, the sill, and the weatherstrip. Full detailing opens the doors and cleans those edges. A tunnel wash does not. An exterior-only visit cleans the jambs we can reach as part of making the outside honest. Say if the jambs are the reason you called.
The same dust is often in the cabin. If the carpets match the jambs, the interior is the other half.
What we do not remove
We do not repaint a hinge and we do not promise to erase every scuff on a sill that has been stepped on for a decade. Grease at a hinge gets cleaned. A chip in the paint stays a chip unless you have asked about paint correction on the outer panels. Correction is not a jamb repaint.
Before you come
You do not need to pre-clean the jambs. Take valuables out of the doors. Read how to prepare. The studio is in 78233. Call (210) 201-4847.
Why the edge is part of a full detail
The door skin can look clean while the jamb is still brown with dust, old wax, and fingerprints. A rinse-and-go usually skips that edge. A full detail at this studio includes the jambs, the fuel door, and the sills you see when the door is open. Chipped paint on the sill is not repaired. We clean the edge. We do not repaint it.
If the jambs are the main complaint, say so when you book. They add time, especially on a truck that lives on caliche. An exterior-only visit can include them when that is the scope we quote. They are not a separate package with its own price list.
The work is at 11692 Bricken Circle, San Antonio, TX 78233. Call (210) 201-4847. Tuesday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Monday is closed. A 20% non-refundable deposit of the quoted total secures the slot. If only one door is the complaint, say so. We still quote the vehicle rather than a single-jamb special. Wax piled in the jamb is cleaned off. It is not left because the door skin already looks fine. Open the door in daylight before you decide the outside is already done. Fuel-door edges are the same kind of missed surface.
