What the layer does
After the panel is clean and stable, the coating is applied and leveled, then left to cure. Water beads or sheets instead of sheeting into a film that dries as spots. Road dirt releases with less scrubbing when you actually wash it. UV and chemicals have a harder time living on the surface. That is the practical version of nano ceramic behavior. It is not a force field and it is not a respray. The prep that makes the surface stable is decontamination before coating.
Nano ceramic paint protection at this studio means that installed layer, done indoors, after prep. A spray bottle with the word ceramic on it is a different product.
What it does not do
It does not fill rock chips. It does not hide swirls. It does not stop a dry towel from scratching the clear. If the paint is neglected, paint correction comes first. Coating copies the surface underneath it.
It also does not cancel washing. San Antonio pollen, bugs, and hard water still land on a coated car. The lifespan note is why parking and washing decide more than a number on a box.
The shop, not a driveway
Dust and direct sun are how an install fails. The work stays at 11692 Bricken Circle, San Antonio, TX 78233. Robert Romero Jr. does the work. One vehicle at a time.

What the product actually does
A coating is a layer applied to paint that is already clean and, when needed, corrected. It adds a slicker surface that can make washing easier and can slow some staining. It does not fill swirls, rebuild clear coat, or stop a rock chip. Paint protection film is a different product, and this studio does not install film.
The useful part is the prep you can see: wash, decontamination, a test spot when correction is in the scope, then the coating on the panels you agreed. Cure guidance comes with the car. A dirty mitt in week one undoes the easy part of that work.
