A straight answer

Is ceramic coating worth it?

It is worth it when the paint is ready, you will wash the vehicle, and you want protection that outlasts a weekend wax. It is not worth it as a substitute for correction or washing.

When the answer is yes

You park outside, you are tired of rewaxing, and the clear coat is either already clean or you are willing to correct it first. In that case professional ceramic coating installation is the job: prep, then the layer, then a wash habit. The cost is mostly the prep. The cost page says why we do not print one number.

Ten percent of the sale goes to Junior Achievement of South Texas. That does not change the scope of the install.

When the answer is no

If you will not wash the car, the coating will still get dirty and you will be unhappy. If you want swirls gone and you do not want them polished first, coating will not hide them. If you want something you can redo every couple of months, wax or a sealant is the smaller commitment. The comparison is ceramic coating versus wax.

If the clear is already thin, we will say so. More product is not a favor.

How to decide with us

Bring the vehicle, or at least a sun photo and the color. We will tell you whether correction is part of the quote. The studio is appointment-only, Tuesday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Schedule your shop ceramic coating consultation or call (210) 201-4847. The deposit is 20% of the quoted total and it is non-refundable once it holds the slot.

When the spend makes sense

A coating is worth considering when the paint is clean, the correction decision is already made, and you will wash the car without a tunnel brush. It is a poor spend on neglected clear coat, on swirls you hoped would disappear, or on a vehicle you plan to dry-wipe in an apartment lot. The bottle is the small part. Prep is the cost.

We do not publish a lifespan or a warranty year-count. Beading helps the wash. It does not cancel hard water or oak pollen. If budget is the constraint, a careful exterior detail may be the right visit this season.

Call (210) 201-4847 and describe the paint, not the ad you saw. 11692 Bricken Circle, 78233. Tuesday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Monday is closed. Twenty percent of the quoted total holds the slot.
